Good community investments lead to good community outcomes and have the capacity to impact community health, economics, education, as well as the environment. Big Ideas in Action provides local community development solutions in transportation, health, and sustainability by engaging government, philanthropic, academic, business, and community partners.
CAPACITY BUILDING
At Big Ideas in Action, we know that every community is different and has its own needs. We work with communities to inform how strategic community investment can directly impact the lives of local residents, cultivate long-term partnerships, and build thriving communities in conjunction with nonprofit, academic, philanthropic, government, business, and community leaders.
CULTURAL & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Big Ideas in Action provides access to experts that specialize in localized solutions in the areas of transportation, health, and sustainability. The experts include Fulbright Scholars, and researchers funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Wellcome Trust.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
At Big Ideas In Action we believe that community investments made at the intersection of philanthropic, government, and business partnerships drive community impact. We provide technical assistance programs to philanthropic institutions seeking to spur community and economic development through impact investing.
